Volunteers

We have two types of volunteers.

Cat Volunteer

We try to get one volunteer in the cat room per day. Volunteers may come in at anytime between 6am and 12pm! The main tasks of the cat room are making sure there is food and water, and cleaning the cat litter. We also appreciate volunteers spending time with the cats, as a volunteer’s presence helps socialize our more timid cats. This socialization makes them more adoptable!

Dog Volunteer

Dog volunteers are expected to be able to interact well with all types and temperaments of dogs. The main objectives of a dog volunteer is to get the animals outside, clean their kennels, feed them, and play with them! Whether you only have time for one shift a week, or many, we’d be happy to have you! Even if you just want to drop by to spend some time with the dogs or take them on a walk, the dogs would be appreciative.

Morning Shift - Anytime between 6am-9am, Afternoon Shift - Anytime between 1pm and 4pm, or Evening Shift - Anytime between 8pm-11pm
