Arrooo! My name is Bubba Joe, but my friends call be Bubba, and I hope we can be friends! I seem to have lost track of my home. No one has claimed me, so I am looking for a new family. I am a young coonhound mix, maybe two years old, neutered male, UTD on vaccinations and heartworm negative. I am learning my inside manners so I can be the perfect companion. I do have lots of energy and love to run and play so a fenced yard is a must! I love to rough house, so if I get a playmate, the need to be my size and energy level. I am not fond of cats. I might not be good with smaller humans, due to my size and enthusiasm.
Bubba is getting some amazing, first-class training for the next 8 weeks at Apex Retrievers with Dane Johnson.
Dane is a world-class hunting and gun dog trainer who has built his business near Kearney NE. He is known throughout the country and has dogs from all over the United States here to train with him.
And now he gets to meet and train Bubba. We are excited to see the progress Bubba will make and ready to see the amazing skills he has after working with Dane. Bubba will be a totally different boy and we are so thankful Dane is taking him on.
Bubba is still up for adoption, and ideally it would be great if he found a home so you can go to meet him and learn some commands as well and work with him during training.
Mr T, AKA Tiny, is a year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is neutered, tested heartworm negative and is UTD on vaccinations. Tiny gets along with most dogs and is okay with cats. Tiny is loving and affectionate and his favorite pastime is playing ball. He can sit and shake and would love someone who could teach him more tricks.
Gabby is a German Sheppard/Husky mix and is approximately two years old. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Gabby will need to be an only dog, as she is dog aggressive, and no other small animals in the home. A fenced yard is required. It is not known how Gabby would be with children., but she is fine with adults.
TO ADOPT A PET:
There are many reasons people choose to adopt pets. Whether seeking companionship, love, or a playmate for your child, a pet will offer company, unconditional acceptance and love, a listening ear and years of joy to you and your family. In return, they ask merely for food, shelter and a family to love.
By adopting a pet from our shelter, you will be gaining friendship and love. You will be helping solve the pet population problem and providing a service to your community. You offer your children the opportunity to learn the importance of responsibility; and you offer a pet in need a new chance at life, and a new family to love.
If you are considering a pet adoption, or believe you may be a fit for our foster program, please contact our rescue. We will work with you to help find a pet that fits well with your family, your home and with the pace of your lifestyle.
